What is the weather like during the winter months in Makena Hawaii, near the Maui Prince Hotel?

People always say that there is no winter there, but I’m mainly concerned about the rain and clouds :)

    They don’t have winter in Hawaii

    You might see more rain that normal during our winter but I’m sure it won’t be enough to ruin your trip. It usually doesn’t rain that often in that area so you should be able to soak up a lot of sunshine even in the winter.

    My wife and I usually vacation on Maui in February. I remember one day we woke up in Kaanapali and it was sprinkling with sunshine and rainbows. We drove to Big Beach in Makena and it was hot and sunny. Then we drove to Iao Valley and it was pouring. I don’t think you will see much rain in Makena, as mentioned above. It may rain lightly, but nothing to spoil your trip. Have fun!
