they saw a ripple in the hotel’s lagoon and a heard gush of air and realized it was a dolphin! Penelope watched it in awe. She had never been so close to a dolphin before. After watching the dolphins swim around for a while (there turned out to be a couple more of them in the lagoon) they finally went back to the hotel. Penelope curled up in the hotel’s bed with her many stuffed animals. She slowly drifted off, thinking about what wonders the island had in store for her…
“Wake up!” said Gerabaldi.
“Huh?” Penelope murmured.
“We are going to the beach today, pancake face!” exclaimed Gerbaldi.
Penelope jumped out of bed and ran to her suitcase. She grabbed a bathing suit and quickly put it on. Penelope loved the beach-even back home in New York she would go whenever she got the chance. But this was Hawaii, known for its beautiful beaches. After waiting for the rest of her family for a couple minutes, they were on their way. The beach was only about a minute walk from the hotel to the beach. When they got to the beach .
