What hotel should I stay at in Wailea Maui Hawaii? I want luxury but don’t want to get ripped off on prices.

    have you ever considered house sitting for free while your there?
    there is a world wide house sitting directory you can sign up for free at to check out accomidations

    I would suggest staying in a vacation rental from a site like www . vrbo . com. Since it’ll be a “last minute” booking, you should be able to negotiate a great deal. The hotels/resorts in Wailea are really pricey. If you would like a resort, though, The Maui Prince in Makena, just south of Wailea, is pretty nice and has a great beach.

    Hey you can check out the prices of local hotels at or at you an check the price of other lxury hotels here.

    I recently stayed at the Marriott. It is a nice place but not as expensive as the other places in Wailea. Most hotels there are very upscale and very expensive. The Marriott is walking distance from the Four Seasons where my fiance and I went to have an occasional drink. We saw so many celebrities, it was a lot of fun.
