Great family vacation with things to do (toddlers, less than 5)?
Paul asked:
Where would you take toddlers on vacation if you DON’T want to just stick them in the Kid’s Day Care but you do want a resort, beach, warm weather, attractions, etc.?

We were looking at Atlantis in the Bahamas because of the water slides, aquarium, etc. but it is too far away from California. I’m thinking Florida at the furthest, Texas? Hawaii? S. California? Mexico??
Specific resorts please.

Club Med has some resorts that are oriented towards families with activities for small kids. The closest ones to you that has facilities for kids is Sandpiper in Orlando, FL (http://www.clubmed.us/cgi-bin/clubmed55/SP/villagesHeading.do?PAYS=115&LANG=US&CODLSC=SANC) and Ixtapa Pacific in Acapulco (http://www.clubmed.us/cgi-bin/clubmed55/SP/villagesHeading.do?PAYS=115&LANG=US&CODLSC=IXTC).
The Sandpiper sounds like a good place to look into because you will also have all the Orlando attractions to go to if you want to venture outside of the resort. The only downside is that it is not on the ocean.
