I thought it was great because I got to see all the big islands. I wasn't stuck in one spot. It was so much fun! Big Island is more shopping and other stuff along those lines which I'm sure that your kids would not like so much. Try googling for activities at Maui. There are many different outdoor activities such as kayaking, hiking, snorkling, etc. I'm sure you're bound to find SOMETHING appealling to your kids! Also, I saw on the Travel channel there's a kid-friendly resort with a huge pool that included a "pool elevator" and other unusual features. A friend of mine got married went on her honeymoon and then the children joined them half way through. That way they had couple time and family time. Your wedding sounds really nice.
